Job Title: Billing Specialist

Classification: Full-Time, Hourly

Pay Range: Depending on Experience (DOE)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am- 5pm (occasional evenings/weekends as needed)

Location: In-Office (no remote), 5000 N Basin Ave., Portland, OR 97217



Job Summary:

The billing department is responsible for auditing projects to compare production to quote, then decides if there are additional cost to be billed. This is an entry level position with the main responsibility to keep the flow of jobs through the shop in a timely manner. This position does not deal directly with clients but will provide significant resources and time in helping coworkers internally and is very involved with every department which provides a great understanding of how the company runs.



Requirements

Essential Functions:

Answer questions regarding status of jobs in the shop.

Enter job values into computer after job is billed.

Provide support to billing lead, this will include simple pre-invoicing.

Check jobs for open purchase orders, materials, or out of line costs.

Monitor jobs through the shop & accounting.
