Job description

This role will work directly with the Senior Finance Manager to assist in capturing and analyzing financial data. The analyst will play a key role in the budget & forecasting process, provide business analysis, and report on Mark Anthony Brewing's procurement performance. This role will help support the development of financial reporting and is encouraged to proactively improve business processes.
Accoutabilities:
  • Identify and provide analysis on the drivers of Supply Chain raw material and packaging expenses
  • Prepare journal entries and ensure financial impacts to the business are accurately accounted for each month
  • Partner with key Supply Chain stakeholders to understand drivers behind procurement performance
  • Budget and Forecasting of raw materials and packaging
  • Prepare and maintain financial models and price list
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and calculate productivity savings

Key Metrics & Financial Targets:
  • Purchase Price Variance (PPV)
  • Freight Spend on Raw Materials and Packaging
  • Productivity & Cost Savings
  • Commodity Hedging Strategy
  • MAB Supply Chain Goals

Own:
  • Analysis on drivers of raw material and packaging financial variances, month-end close responsibilities, productivity tracking, and price list management

Influence:
  • Refine and enhance existing reports to improve business processes.

Critical Relationships:
  • Supply Chain Finance Team
  • MAB Procurement Team

Skills Needed To Be Successful:
  • Bachelor's Degree, 3-5 years of proven experience in finance or accounting (CPG experience preferred)
  • Strong proficiency using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, attention to detail & ability to work independently
  • Comfortable handling large amounts of data and detail, and having the ability to see the big picture

Compensation:
Compensation offered to prospective Team Members has taken internal equity into consideration and can vary depending on a positions' location. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on the job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the individual.
  • Competitive annual salary from $89,000 to $107,000 based in Chicago, IL
