Eagle Rock Distributing Company

Atlanta, GA

Job description

Account Manager — Wine & Spirits
Downtown Atlanta, Buckhead & Midtown | South Atlanta to Fayetteville & Stockbridge
Full-Time | Commission | Car Allowance | Benefits

One of the Best Territories in the State
This isn't a starter territory, it's a stacked one. You'll be working some of the most competitive and exciting on-premise accounts in the Southeast through Downtown, Buckhead, and Midtown, while also building real retail distribution down through South Atlanta into Fayetteville and Stockbridge. Few books of business in this state offer this kind of range: high-end accounts in the urban core and untapped growth in the suburban corridor.
Eagle Rock Distributing is one of Georgia's fastest growing wine and spirits wholesalers, and we're looking for an Account Manager who can move comfortably between two very different selling environments - a fast-paced rooftop bar in Buckhead on Tuesday, a grocery chain reset in Stockbridge on Wednesday - and win in both. If you know how to open doors, earn shelf space, build cocktail and by-the-glass programs, and outwork the competition - this is the territory that rewards it.

Who We’re Looking For
This territory rewards versatility. Here’s the profile we’re building toward:
? A True Hybrid Seller — You’re equally comfortable pitching a wine director on a by-the-glass program and walking a grocery manager through a planogram reset. Most reps are strong in one lane — we need someone strong in both.
? A Hunter for New Distribution — You don’t wait for accounts to come to you. You're constantly identifying new points of distribution, whether that's an independent bottle shop in Stockbridge or a new restaurant opening in Midtown.
? Comfortable in High-Volume, High-Energy Accounts — Downtown and Buckhead on premise moves fast. You need to be sharp, organized, and able to build relationships with buyers who don’t have a lot of time to give you.
? A Builder in Growth Markets — Fayetteville and Stockbridge are expanding fast. You’ll have real opportunity to plant flags and grow your footprint as these markets develop.
? Self-Directed & Road-Ready — This territory spans urban core to suburban growth corridor. You need to manage your own route, your own time, and your own priorities without someone telling you where to be.
? Licensed & Mobile — A valid Georgia driver’s license and clean driving record are required — you’ll be covering significant ground across this territory daily.

What You’ll Do
• Drive Retail Distribution — Gain new points of distribution across grocery, package stores, and independent retail throughout South Atlanta, Fayetteville, and Stockbridge. Every new placement is a win you own.
• Win the On-Premise Trade — Build and maintain relationships with bars, restaurants, and hospitality groups across Downtown, Buckhead, and Midtown — securing by-the-glass placements, back-bar programs, and feature spots.
• Manage a High-Visibility Territory — Balance urban on-premise accounts with suburban retail growth — prioritizing your time and route to maximize impact across a wide-ranging book of business.
• Execute Merchandising & Programming — Build displays, manage resets, and bring promotional programs to life at retail. Make sure Eagle Rock brands stand out everywhere they’re sold.
• Stay Ahead of the Market — Know what’s trending in Atlanta’s on-premise scene and what’s moving at retail in the growth corridor — and bring that intelligence to every account.
• Represent a Best-in-Class Portfolio — Carry some of the most respected wine and spirits brands in the business, with the credibility to open doors and the product knowledge to keep them open.
• Collaborate Across Teams — Work closely with operations, logistics, and marketing to deliver flawless execution from order to delivery to activation.

What You Get
• Aggressive Commission — A compensation structure that rewards performance — the more you grow your territory, the more you earn.
• Monthly Vehicle Allowance — We cover your wheels so you can focus on the road ahead.

• Full Benefits Package — Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
• Ongoing Training & Development — Product education, sales technique, and category expertise — we invest in making you better at every stage of your career.
• Exclusive Industry Access — Producer visits, trade tastings, portfolio events, and direct access to some of the most respected names in wine and spirits.
• A Culture That Wins — We work hard, move fast, and celebrate the people who make it happen. Effort is recognized here, and ambition has room to grow.

Physical Requirements
This role involves hands-on account work — moving cases of wine and spirits, setting up displays, and occasionally maneuvering kegs. Must be able to lift at least 45 lbs and handle kegs up to 180 lbs. You’ll work across a variety of environments including restaurants, retail spaces, coolers, and outdoor events.

  • Eagle Rock Distributing Co. is an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made, upon request, to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of their position.
