Job description

As a Mobile Glass Technician at Belle Tire, you do what it takes to keep life moving for our customers by repairing and installing windshields and other auto glass and will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on safety and quality. The Mobile Auto Glass Technician position plays a key role in providing automotive glass repairs and is a great starting point to a rewarding career at Belle Tire!

What You'll Do

  • Travel to customer location to perform auto glass installation and repairs
  • Inspect vehicles and determine appropriate repairs or replacements needed
  • Safely remove and replace windshields, side windows, rear windows, and other auto glass
  • Effectively communicate with customers, addressing any concerns or questions
  • Safely drive mobile glass van equipped with tools and glass required to perform auto glass repairs/replacement
  • Ensure glass van and all equipment and tools are well-maintained and safe
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your manager

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 18 years old
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Five (5) years of auto glass repair/replacement experience on all types of vehicles
  • Must purchase a basic auto glass tool kit from Belle Tire
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods, bend and lift up to 75 pounds

Work Environment

This position is an on-the-road driving position. It involves physical demands including sitting for extended periods while driving as well as loading and unloading auto glass and lifting heavy items.
