Position Summary
Durabuilt is seeking experienced and professional Independent Contractors – Window & Door Installers to support our growing installation operations. Successful contractors will be responsible for the installation of residential windows and doors while ensuring workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction standards are met.
Responsibilities
  • Install windows, entry doors, patio doors, and related products in residential settings.
  • Review work orders, measurements, and installation specifications prior to commencing work.
  • Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications, building codes, and company quality standards.
  • Perform site assessments and identify any installation concerns or deficiencies.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, site supervisors, and internal teams.
  • Complete required documentation, deficiency reports, and installation sign-offs.
  • Resolve minor service deficiencies and provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience installing residential windows and doors.
  • Valid business registration and ability to work as an independent contractor.
  • General liability insurance and WCB coverage (proof required).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to supply and maintain required installation tools and equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, construction practices, and installation techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
