Role Overview

Seeking a Windows-focused Infrastructure Engineer with strong automation expertise. This role supports engineering development, integration, deployment, and support of custom OS imaging and BIOS deployment services. You will help build and maintain digital-based service delivery solutions used across enterprise and client platforms.

The position involves delivering new features, automating deployment processes, and supporting software solutions developed by Dell and partners including Microsoft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance)
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and deployment tools
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and OS deployment issues
  • Support custom OS imaging and BIOS deployment services
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams
  • Document processes, workflows, and technical procedures
  • Take ownership of assigned engineering tasks

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong Windows administration experience
  • Heavy scripting and automation using Python and PowerShell
  • OS imaging, deployment, and customization (Windows 10, Windows 11, WinPE, Linux)
  • Experience with deployment tools such as SCCM, MDT, and Microsoft ADK (preferred)
  • Knowledge of BIOS, drivers, and hardware layers
  • Experience in enterprise troubleshooting environments
  • Familiarity with scripting formats/tools such as JSON, YAML, Perl, or Shell

Preferred Background

  • Experience in a manufacturing or OEM technology environment
  • Previous Dell manufacturing environment exposure (nice to have)
