Job Summary
Window World is a nationally franchised, exterior remodeling company. We are seeking a Design Consultant to sell our residential window and door projects in the Mid-Michigan area (Mt Pleasant to South of Jackson). The position requires the design consultant to participate in an in-home selling presentation where they present our products and solutions to their exterior remodeling projects. This is a commissioned sales position and the design consultant must have reliable transportation to the daily pre-set appointments in our territory. All leads are pre-qualified, coming from local advertising. This is NOT a door-to-door position, and there is NO cold calling involved. Having prior experience with in-home selling is an advantage, and an understanding of window and door components, but there will be a training provided. Typically a design consultant participates in 1 to 2 scheduled appointments Monday through Friday and must be available two Saturdays a month for appointments as well.
Candidate must have a valid drivers license and pass a background check along with a drug screening.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-home consultations to assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Utilize negotiation skills to close sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage customer accounts and maintain relationships to foster repeat business.
  • Perform product demonstrations and explain features to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and possess a valid driver’s license for travel
