D1, a premiere athletic training facility in Brighton MI, is seeking a leader who is passionate about supporting both youth and adults in achieving their fitness goals. The Head Coach will join a high-energy, collaborative team of fitness professionals dedicated to bringing a motivating, world-class athletic experience to members. This position is primarily responsible for coaching group fitness classes and member retention by ensuring best-in-class service. This is a full time, in-person position, though work hours are flexible.

Job Responsibilities
  • Building and maintaining relationships with each D1 member
  • Coaching group workouts, personal training, and team classes (minimum 25-30 hours per week)
  • Teach proper form, modify and adapt movements that are best suited for the individual at hand.
  • Completing client assessments to align each member with the appropriate program.
  • Supervision of Assistant Coaches - scheduling, coaching assessments and feedback, oversight of client assessments.

Qualifications
  • Valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification
  • At least one valid certification accredited by the NCCA.
  • Minimum of 1 year of strength & conditioning-related experience in group, team, or personal training setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred).

Compensation: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
