Before beginning work, window washers often participate in safety briefings and are required to be trained in fall protection and emergency procedures. Regular equipment checks and adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines are standard practices to ensure a safe work environment.

Do window washing companies make good money?

Window washers can earn a moderate income, with pay often based on the size and difficulty of the jobs, as well as experience and location. What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a window washer?

To thrive as a Window Washer, you need physical fitness, attention to detail, and basic safety knowledge, often with a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with cleaning solutions, squeegees, extension poles, ladders, and sometimes harnesses or scaffolding systems is typically required.
