To thrive as a Window Treatment Designer, you need a solid understanding of interior design principles, fabric selection, and measurement techniques, often supported by a degree in interior design or a related field. Familiarity with design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or specialized window treatment design programs, as well as knowledge of current trends and product lines, is typically required. This teamwork ensures the final result meets both the client’s vision and quality standards.
