Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drywaller/Painter to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing drywall surfaces, as well as preparing and painting interior and exterior walls and surfaces to a high standard. This role requires a strong work ethic, craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Drywall Duties:

  • Measure, cut, and install drywall panels to fit specific wall and ceiling spaces

  • Tape, mud, and sand joints, seams, and corners to create a smooth surface

  • Repair existing drywall, including patching holes, cracks, and other damage

  • Ensure surfaces are properly prepared before painting or finishing

  • Install metal or wood backing for drywall support when needed

Painting Duties:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, and patching

  • Apply primer, paint, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment

  • Match and mix paint colors as needed

  • Protect nearby surfaces with drop cloths and masking tape

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
