Job Title: Residential Glazier - Lead Installer


Job Description: J&A Glass is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to fill the role of Residential Glazier - Lead Installer. This is a full-time position, with a competitive starting wage and opportunities for advancement within the company.


Responsibilities:
  • Lead in the installation of shower doors, mirrors, and many other custom glass solutions our clients trust us to provide.
  • Clean and prepare work areas or job sites as needed or instructed
  • Load, offload, and deliver materials to work sites
  • Follow instructions from the project managers
  • Assist other Lead Glaziers as needed
  • Identify and report issues with work material on site
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Requirements:
  • Comfort using hand and power tools
  • 1-2 years of basic construction labor experience
  • 2+ years of Shower Door installation experience
  • Valid ID and driver's license free of major accidents and DUIs
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
  • Must be punctual, reliable, and have a positive attitude
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and measures
  • Must be willing to work in all weather conditions and travel to work sites out of the area as needed
