previous experience working with concrete is a plusMust be able to pass background/health screeningGeneral Job Description:Constructs, erects, installs, fabricates, dismantles and repairs structures, formwork and fixtures of wood, metal forms and associated accessories.Functional Requirements:Studies blueprints, sketches or structural plans for information pertaining to the type of material required, such as lumber or fiberboard, and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated; selects specified types of lumber or other materials; prepares layouts including lines and grades; marks cutting and assembly lines on materials; shapes materials to prescribed measurements; assembles cut and shaped materials and fastens them together; erects framework for structures and lays sub-flooring; builds stairs and lays out and installs partitions and cabinet work; covers sub-floor with building paper to keep out moisture and lays hardwood, parquet and wood-strip-block floors; fits and installs prefabricated window frames, doors, door frames, weather stripping, interior and exterior trim, and finish hardware such as locks, letter drops and kick plates; constructs forms and chutes for pouring concrete; erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures below ground, at ground level or above ground level; fabricates from work then loads, hauls, and carries it to the job site and installs per drawings, sketches or plans;
