They may also dispose of the old windows and clean up the work area. Replacement Window Installers must be skilled in using hand and power tools, and have a good understanding of building codes and safety regulations. These skills are essential to ensure precise, safe, and efficient window installations that meet customer expectations and building codes.

What are some common challenges replacement window installers face on the job, and how can they be managed?

About Camacho Window Installation L.L.C

At Camacho Window Installation, we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch, seamless, and high-quality window replacement services to homeowners across Houston. We specialize in residential, custom retro-fit installations. Because we keep a steady pipeline of work year-round, we are looking for reliable, skilled, and detail-oriented Window Installers to partner with us as full-time 1099 contractors.

If you take pride in your craftsmanship, enjoy the independence of 1099 work, and want a consistent flow of projects without having to chase down leads, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do

Your primary focus will be the standard, clean removal and replacement of residential windows. Since all of our projects are retro-fit (custom-made) jobs, precision and attention to detail are key.

  • Remove & Replace: Efficiently remove old residential windows and install new, custom-made retro-fit windows.
  • Ensure Quality: Deliver clean, weather-tight, and visually flawless installations that meet our high company standards.
  • Site Cleanup: Leave every homeowner’s property cleaner than you found it, disposing of old materials responsibly.
  • Customer Interaction: Maintain a polite, professional, and respectful presence while working on-site at residential homes.

What We Are Looking For

We need independent pros who can hit the ground running. To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Experience: Proven experience in residential window installation, specifically with custom retro-fit/insert window replacements.
  • Reliable Transportation: You must have your own reliable vehicle capable of transporting tools (and ideally materials/windows to the job site).
  • Valid Driver’s License: Active and in good standing.
  • Tools of the Trade: Possession of your own standard installation hand tools and power tools.
  • Quality Mindset: Great problem-solving skills to handle the minor adjustments that come with custom, retro-fit residential work.
  • Reliability: Punctual, honest, and committed to finishing jobs on schedule.

What We Offer

  • Highly Competitive Pay: $150 - $450 (DOE), paid out promptly upon successful job completion.
  • Consistent Work Volume: No more hunting for your next gig. We keep your schedule full with steady, local Houston residential jobs.
  • 1099 Independence: Enjoy the freedom and flexibility of managing your own business structure while partnering with a respected local company.
