POSITION  SUMMARY
We are looking for an energetic, friendly, and dependable person to fill the position of Ass. Produce Manager/Florist. The ideal candidate should be able to perform physical tasks like lifting heavy boxes and climbing ladders, work long hours standing on their feet, and provide excellent customer service in various areas, including both produce and floral. Responsibilities include making sure our product is always fresh and in good condition, creating eye appealing displays, and maintaining administrative and business requirements. 

The candidate must work closely with management to communicate standards of excellence to employees. Responsibilities also include reinforcing safety and proper handling of perishable inventory. the job includes designing floral arrangements for a variety of occasions. The successful candidate must also make sure all merchandise is stored properly and rotated based on store policy. Other duties include maintaining records of invoices, receiving, and waste control, and achieving department merchandising goals in cooperation with your manager, merchandisers, and buyers.

3. Restocking up to 50lbs cases of product
4. supervising production team
5. Tracking pricing and sales
6. Maintaining receiving records
7. Maintaining and ordering perishable inventory
8. Merchandising perishable stock
9. Conferring with customers for effective deliverables
10. work with local vendors/farmers


SKILLS/ABILITIES

A   Perform office and retail service duties such as keeping financial records, serving customers, answering telephones, selling giftware items and receiving payment.

A   Unpack stock as it comes into the shop.

A   Create and change in-store and window displays, designs, and looks to enhance a shop's image.

A   Inform customers about the care, maintenance, and handling of various flowers and foliage, indoor plants, and other items.

A   Perform general cleaning duties in the store to ensure the shop is clean and tidy.

A   Decorate or supervise the decoration of buildings, halls, churches, or other facilities for parties, weddings and other occasions.

A   Conduct classes or demonstrations, or train other workers.
