Role Overview:

We are looking for experienced Window and Door Installation Subcontractors to support our expanding project volume throughout Southeastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod, the Islands, and Rhode Island. This 1099 subcontractor opportunity is ideal for professional installers or crews based in or willing to travel to these areas. As a subcontractor, you will be responsible for installing high-quality windows and doors in both residential and commercial properties while ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely and efficiently install windows and doors in accordance with Pellaโ€™s highquality standards.
  • Ensure all installations are completed to exact specifications, contributing to excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain professionalism in all customer interactions, addressing inquiries and concerns as needed.
  • Keep work sites organized, clean, and safe, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Follow all Pella company procedures, safety guidelines, and industry regulations.
  • Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in window and door installation.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and building materials.
  • Attention to detail and craftsmanship is essential.
  • Ability to work independently or manage a crew.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical ability to perform manual installation work.
  • A valid driverโ€™s license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA certification (required during onboarding).
  • Subcontractor Onboarding Requirements (Mandatory):

    To be approved as a subcontractor with Pella, you must complete the following onboarding steps:

      1.Installer Subcontractor Agreement
      2.Lead Safety Certification (RRP) โ€“ Valid Lead Safe certification (Rhode Island and Massachusetts equivalent).
      3.Background Checks and Drug Screening โ€“ Required for all installers and helpers working in occupied homes.
      4.Certificates of Insurance (COI):
  • Workers' Compensation (as required by law) oGeneral Liability
  • Auto Liability
    1. 5.Lift Certification (if applicable) โ€“ Required for the operation of lifting equipment.
      6.OSHA 10 Certification โ€“ General Construction (Required for all crew members).
