Cornerstone Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Winder Operator for a manufacturing client in Dallas, TX. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced production environment with long-term potential.

Job Purpose

The Winder Operator monitors and operates winder machines that wind materials such as foil and kraft paper onto mandrels according to production specifications. This role ensures consistent product quality, machine efficiency, and adherence to safety standards while supporting production goals through accurate documentation and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor winder machines according to production specifications
  • Adjust machine settings such as speed, tension, and alignment to maintain quality
  • Inspect finished products for defects and verify measurements
  • Perform basic cleaning and preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
  • Record production data accurately and report issues to supervisors
  • Safely lift and move materials up to 60 lbs using proper techniques and equipment
  • Support additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to read and follow work orders and production schedules
  • Basic math skills and ability to use measurement tools (tape measure, calipers)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Full-time position
Monday–Thursday: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Friday: 4:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Summer Schedule

Monday-Friday 4:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 60 lbs
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout the facility
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and moving equipment
