Job description

Seeking a hands-on Electro-Mechanical Engineer to design and support advanced beverage dispensing systems driven by software-based control algorithms. This role involves cross-functional engineering to develop, test, and optimize systems integrating pumps, valves, motors, sensors, and fluid delivery components. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability with practical design and troubleshooting expertise.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and model components using CADD (Creo preferred) and generate detailed engineering drawings
  • Apply structured problem-solving methods such as DMAIC, 8D, A3
  • Perform statistical analysis and experimental data evaluation
  • Support Engineering Change Management (Windchill preferred)
  • Develop and test electro-mechanical systems including pumps, valves, motors, and sensors
  • Contribute to fluidic circuit design, including pumping technologies and flow systems
  • Develop and support test systems and automation (LabVIEW, PLCs)
  • Interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex technical concepts clearly
  • Ensure adherence to design standards, processes, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of relevant engineering experience
  • Proficiency in Creo (or equivalent CADD software)
  • Experience with Windchill or Engineering Change Management systems
  • Knowledge of fluid dynamics, mechanical structures, electronic circuits, and control systems
  • Experience with MATLAB, Python, or JMP for data analysis (preferred)
  • Background in fluidics and ingredient delivery systems preferred
  • BS in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aero, Biomedical Engineering (ABET preferred) or equivalent experience
