JOB SUMMARY
An engineering systems specialist is responsible for the usage expansion and support of Windchill PLM and CATIA CAD tools for the organization. They will ensure that Boeing Encore Interiors Aerospace's day to day functionality are reliable and efficient for Boeing Encore Interiors users. This role will work closely with the IT Director on the expansion of the tool sets as well as with the Engineering department leads to ensure performance targets for the systems are understood and being met.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES - Essential Functions(Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.)

• Work within support ticket system to troubleshoot open end user issues as Tier1/2 support focal point on a daily basis
• Communicate daily with Boeing Encore Interiors end users on status and progress of open support issues and projects
• Communicate and follow up with Boeing Encore Interiors software partners on open Tier 3 and above support issues
• Follow established engineering systems project plan to expand deployment and usage of Windchill PLM
o For example, work on the day to day roll out of engineering standards for Windchill usage
o For example, deploy new search reports that meet requirements specific to end user needs
o For example, update and/or modify Workflows specific to process needs
• Follow established engineering systems project plan to expand deployment and usage of CATIA CAD
o For example, work on the day to day roll out of engineering standards for CATIA usage
o For example, deploy new drafting standards that meet requirements specific to end user needs
• Capture and document support projects from end users and add to Engineering systems project list
• Capture and document support tickets from end users and add to Engineering systems support ticket system
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS - Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Programming, Computer Science or related field
Experience:
• 3+ years' experience in Windchill PLM Administration and Support
• 1+ years' experience as end user
• Experience providing CAD systems support
• Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of PLM systems
• Experience in technical documentation
• Experience in end user support or customer support
Skills:
• Sound understanding of PLM systems preferably Windchill
• Sound understanding of CAD systems preferably CATIA
• Outstanding communication skills
• Attention to detail
Preferred Skills/Experience:
• End user support
• Technical Documentation
