About the role:

Amarillo, TX

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the successful execution of several large-scale renewable energy construction projects, including utility-scale wind farms valued between $1.3 billion and $2+ billion. You will partner with Project Managers and teams throughout the project lifecycle, supporting both pre-construction planning and active construction activities.

You will have experience in construction project management, industrial or utility-scale projects, reporting to the Project Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience delivering some of the largest renewable energy infrastructure projects in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Managers in the execution and delivery of large-scale wind farm construction projects.
  • Review engineering drawings, project plans, and construction documentation during pre-construction activities.
  • Participate in design reviews, planning meetings, and construction readiness discussions.
  • Coordinate with teams, including construction, engineering, materials, and sourcing groups.
  • Maintain a regular on-site presence during construction to monitor progress and assist with issue resolution.
  • Track project activities, identify risks, and help resolve daily construction challenges.
  • Support project reporting, documentation, and overall project controls.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with utility, renewable energy, industrial, or infrastructure construction projects.
  • Wind energy or turbine construction experience.
  • Engineering degree or technical background.
  • PMP certification or progress toward PMP certification.
  • 1+ years of experience supporting large-scale capital projects.
