                   Pediatrix Hospitalist Opportunity Winchester, VA


Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Hospitalist to join our collaborative and mission-driven team at Winchester Medical Center. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, family-centered care in a well-supported community hospital setting, while also engaging in teaching and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Position Highlights

  • Care for patients on a 17-bed pediatric floor and in the newborn nursery supporting approximately 2400 annual deliveries
    • Pediatric Floor ADC: 5
    • Newborn Nursery ADC: 15
  • Daytime support from Advanced Practice Providers
  • Block scheduling for optimal work-life balance
  • Daytime rounding and out-of-house call (30-minute response time)
  • Collaborate with a network of pediatric subspecialists available both onsite and via telehealth through:
    • University of Virginia
    • INOVA
    • Children’s National
  • Opportunity to teach and mentor Family Medicine Residents
  • Work alongside a team where Pediatrix also providers NICU services at Winchester Medical Center for continuity of care
