Salary: $20-$22

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team at Wimbledon Place. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, appearance, and functionality. As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform general repairs and preventative maintenance at the properties. This position will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Performs general plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the facilitys equipment and systems.
  • Inspects equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
  • Conducts quarterly preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems continue operating properly.
  • Handle service requests from tenants and ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks. Maintain a professional and courteous manner when interacting with tenants.
  • Performs general safety repairs onsite to protect property and residents.
  • Works to refurbish residences prior to occupancy.
  • On call for emergencies.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Thorough knowledge of general plumbing, electrical and HVAC repair.
  • Ability to provide and use hand tools and power tools.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and able to follow instructions.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with tenants, contractors, and team members in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Willingness to assist colleagues and contribute to the overall success of Winfield Property Management.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience preferred.
  • Pool certification, EPA certification, HVAC certification, Fair Housing Training preferred.


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods walking and standing
  • Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend and crawl into awkward spaces.
  • Must be physically able to operate power equipment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50-100 pounds at a time.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
