Job description

Overview
We are hiring for multiple opportunities within our new Miami retail store (Aventura Mall). This application will allow you to express interest in one or more of the following roles:
  • Store Manager: $78,000 - $86,000 annually
  • Assistant Store Manager: $26.50/hr - $31.50/hr
  • Key Holder: $22.00/hr - $25.00/hr
  • Athlete Advisor: $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr

As you apply, you will be able to indicate which role(s) you're interested in.
At Wilson, we are here to empower every human to live like an athlete. Passion. Creativity. Integrity. Teamwork. Ambition. Innovation. These are the qualities that have made Wilson Sporting Goods Co. the number one sports equipment brand in the world.
Wilson has evolved from a sports equipment brand to surround the tennis athlete in technical sportswear, footwear, and equipment. Our retail stores lead with innovative sportswear, footwear, and a curated assortment of racket equipment that solves for the needs of the athlete.
We are looking for passionate, customer focused, and team first individuals who want to help bring the Wilson brand to life in Miami. Whether you are an experienced retail leader, an emerging leader, or someone who loves sport, service, and creating great customer experiences, we would love to hear from you.
Together, we will create a better world through sport. Join us.
What You'll Do
As part of the Wilson Retail team, you will help create an exceptional in store experience for athletes, customers, and the local community. Depending on the role, responsibilities may include:
  • Delivering a world class customer experience every day.
  • Educating customers on Wilson sportswear, footwear, racket equipment, and product innovation.
  • Supporting salesfloor operations, cash handling, inventory, replenishment, and store presentation.
  • Helping merchandise the store in a way that is easy to shop, educational, and visually compelling.
  • Maintaining strong communication with teammates and store leadership.
  • Supporting store projects, brand initiatives, community events, and ambassador relationships.
  • Participating in team tennis lessons and helping create a strong store culture.
  • For leadership roles, coaching and developing teammates, supporting hiring and training, driving sales results, managing store operations, and helping build meaningful relationships in the local tennis and sport community.

For Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager roles, the work will also include leading people, driving store performance, supporting community programming, managing operational execution, and using business results to guide decisions. Your Store Manager example frames the Store Manager as the "head coach" responsible for team, business, operations, and community leadership, while the Assistant Store Manager role supports the Store Manager and acts as a key member of the leadership team.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for candidates who are excited about Wilson, sport, retail, and creating a welcoming experience for every athlete who walks through our doors.
Depending on the role, ideal experience may include:
  • Retail, sales, customer service, hospitality, or similar customer facing experience.
  • Retail leadership experience for Key Holder, Assistant Store Manager, or Store Manager opportunities.
  • Experience in fashion, sportswear, footwear, sporting goods, or tennis is a plus.
  • A passion for delivering an exceptional consumer experience.
  • Strong communication skills and a team first mindset.
  • Comfort working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial retail environment.
  • A proactive approach to solving customer needs and supporting teammates.
  • Integrity, respect, accountability, and a desire to help others win.

For leadership opportunities, we are especially interested in candidates who can coach and develop others, lead through clear expectations, support store operations, and help create a strong connection between the store and the local community.
What We'll Provide:
We offer an innovative, inclusive, and people first environment with competitive benefits and perks, including:
  • Paid time off for part time and full time employees.
  • Education reimbursement.
  • Medical, dental, and vision.
  • Pre tax transit discounts.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Life insurance.
  • Paid maternity and paternity leave.
  • Professional development opportunities.
  • Volunteering programs.
  • A complimentary Wilson tennis racquet upon joining our team.
  • Free monthly tennis training sessions with a professional coach, open to all store employees.
  • Discounts on Wilson and Amer Sports products.

Compensation varies by role. Current role specific pay ranges include:
  • Store Manager: $78,000 - $86,000 annually
  • Assistant Store Manager: $26.50/hr - $31.50/hr
  • Key Holder: $22.00/hr - $25.00/hr
  • Athlete Advisor: $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Individual pay is determined by factors such as job related skills, relevant experience, education, and training.
