Job description

Talladega College is seeking a motivated and energetic individual to serve as the Part-Time Head
Women's Flag Football Coach for its Women's Flag Football Club Team. The Head Coach will
be responsible for organizing, developing, and leading all aspects of the program while
promoting sportsmanship, academic success, leadership, and student engagement.
The successful candidate will help build and grow a competitive and positive club sports
environment that reflects the mission and values of Talladega College.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
โ€ข Organize and conduct practices, training sessions, and team meetings.
โ€ข Recruit and retain qualified student-athletes for the Women's Flag Football Club Team.
โ€ข Develop game strategies and oversee team competition.
โ€ข Schedule games, tournaments, and team travel in coordination with the Athletics
Department and/or Campus Recreation.
โ€ข Monitor academic progress, conduct, and overall well-being of student-athletes.
โ€ข Promote leadership, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among team members.
โ€ข Ensure compliance with college policies, procedures, and club sport regulations.
โ€ข Maintain inventory and proper care of equipment and uniforms.
โ€ข Assist with fundraising, community engagement, and promotional activities for the
program.
โ€ข Work collaboratively with college administrators, staff, and other campus departments.
โ€ข Supervise assistant coaches and volunteers, if applicable.
โ€ข Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
Qualifications
โ€ข High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
โ€ข Previous coaching or playing experience in flag football, football, or a related sport
preferred.
โ€ข Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
โ€ข Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
โ€ข Demonstrated ability to mentor and motivate college students.
โ€ข CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
