Job description

Pay Range:
$26.80 - $40.20
A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
The Supervisor-Pharmacy Support Services provides direct supervision of pharmacy support staff and managing the activities assigned to the pharmacy and location, including overseeing daily pharmacy technician operations to ensure patient care needs are met. Ensures that patients and clinicians have timely access to medications and other pharmacy support staff have the resources and training necessary to perform their jobs effectively. This role will be responsible for helping guide efficient purchasing and distribution of medications, assisting with 340B optimization and analytics (for 340B facilities), and other pharmacy technician duties as assigned.

Education Qualifications
  • Associates degree in healthcare, business administration or related field is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field or business administration is preferred.
  • 5 years of pharmacy technician experience in lieu of associates degree may be considered.
Experience Qualifications
  • 5 years of pharmacy experience, or 2 years of pharmacy or related hearth care experience with previous managerial or supervisory experience is required.
  • Experience purchasing, distribution, or analytics is preferred.
  • Experience with pharmacy inventory software and inventory analytics is preferred.
  • Understanding of 340B contract compliance when applicable to site of practice is preferred.
  • Experience with Epic Willow Inpatient is preferred.
  • 1 year of supervisory or demonstrated leadership experience is required.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
  • Licensed or registred Pharmacy Technician in the state of practice is required.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) or National Healthcare Association (NHA) is required.
