Job Title: Epic Willow Inpatient Analyst
Position Type: Contract until this year end.
Job Location: Omaha, NE 68114 (Remote)

Work Arrangement: This position is primarily remote. However, candidates should be available to travel onsite to the Omaha, NE location if needed after November 7 to support the third wave of the implementation.

 

Job Description:
The Epic Willow Inpatient Analyst is responsible for configuring, supporting, and optimizing the Epic Willow Inpatient pharmacy application to ensure efficient and safe medication management workflows. This role partners with pharmacy, clinical, and IT teams to implement system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing application maintenance and optimization.


Required Qualifications:

  • Active Epic Willow Inpatient Certification is required. Candidates must provide a copy of their Epic certification (PDF) downloaded from the Epic UserWeb within the last six months as proof of their active certification.
  • 3–5 years of healthcare IT, clinical applications, or hospital pharmacy experience
  • Knowledge of inpatient pharmacy workflows and medication management processes
  • Experience with medication dispensing systems
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain Epic Willow Inpatient
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and optimization initiatives
  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide end-user support
  • Collaborate with pharmacy and clinical teams to improve workflows
  • Maintain system documentation and ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
