Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Location: Hybrid (Must reside in Bay Area) 1-2 days per week in Dublin

 

Summary of Position:

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for driving data-informed business decisions by analyzingcomplex datasets and t ranslating insights into actionable recommendations. This role leverages advanced analytical tools—particularly Python, Power BI, Power Query, and Excel—to develop predictive analyses, performance metrics, and customized reporting that support business strategy and operational optimization. The analyst partners with stakeholders and leaders to present findings, manage small to mid-sized projects, and deliver clear visual management through dashboards and executive presentations.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned location based on business need. Travel Estimated at 1-2 days out of the work week to report to Dublin, CA office.


Responsibilities
  • Performs analysis using tools such as excel, power query, and python on complex data models producing customized reports and insights.
  • Develops new or revises existing data analysis to predict business outcomes selecting from various complex variables.
  • Develops and uses metrics to develop recommendations related to business strategy and operations. Presents findings and recommendations to leaders.
  • Manages small to mid-size projects.
  • Provide Visual management via tools such as power bi or power point presentations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • MBA or graduate degree.
  • Experience Min: 4 years of related work experience.
  • Broad knowledge of different analytical methods, approaches, tools and tactics.
  • Advanced understanding of fundamental analysis and what-if modeling concepts, methods and techniques and analysis of how different factors affect business outcomes.
  • Creative problem skills to develop solutions.
  • Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to justify any business changes.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills to deliver findings and recommendations to various levels of management.
  • Knowledge and understanding of key drivers affecting business results.
  • Strong project management knowledge and skills to lead project teams.Excellent organizational, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
