Job Description

The SharePoint Administrator Developer will work within the IT Corporate Business Applications department to facilitate the prioritization, implementation, and maintenance of mission critical SharePoint portfolio projects. 

The SharePoint Administrator will be part of a team that is responsible for the development, maintenance, and integration of moderately complex Office 365 SharePoint 2013 application software. The SharePoint Administrator Developer will work with key IT stakeholders /users to define the portfolio objectives and maintain quality of service relationships throughout their lifecycles. This includes coordinating the efforts of IT technical staff and third-party consultants. The SharePoint Administrator Developer will also recommend and drive SharePoint self-service improvement opportunities for business site administrators and users.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of prior SharePoint Administration or development, SharePoint 2010, 2013
  • Experience with .NET Development including ASP.NET, .NET, C# and Windows using C#.
  • Experience in development using MS SQL is strongly preferred.
  • Experience planning and implementing SharePoint environments
  • Knowledge of Internet Information Server (IIS) and the basic operation of websites, Application Pools, IIS Administration, the IIS Metabase, Ports, SSL Certifications (security certificates and wildcard certificates)
  • Experience with Office 365 SharePoint 2013 preferred
  • Experience with Active Directory a plus
  • Windows operating system and hardware, including basic administration of a server a plus
  • Good understanding of networking concepts related to application requirements
  • Good understanding of storage concepts related to application requirements
  • Debugging skills and techniques
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing and assessing business processes, prioritizing and develop IT solutions for complex business situations
  • Ability to build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project
  • Results oriented, highly motivated, able to complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Global Industrial / manufacturing company background preferred
