Job description

A well-established organization based in the Salt Lake City, UT is looking for Senior Systems Administrator for a long term maintenance & support project. Candidates who are willing to relocate and work onsite in the Salt Lake City can apply to this job. There is no remote work (after the current Covid pandemic is over).

  • Minimum of 5 yrs working with System Operations in a Linux and Enterprise Java environment with DB2 or Oracle
  • Install and configure software and hardware
  • Manage network servers and technology tools
  • Set up accounts and workstations
  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models
  • Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
  • Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
