MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Successful coaching experience in girls flag football
  • Ability to meet the WIAA coaching certification standards
  • Proven ability to organize and promote athletics programs
  • Valid First Aid/CPR card ? Proven ability to organize and promote athletics programs
  • Ability to communicate and work with student athletes, parents, and community members in a mutually supportive and positive manner

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The season begins November 16, 2026 and concludes February 6, 2027. The successful candidate will possess knowledge of flag football and experience in coaching, demonstrating effective skills, strategies, and techniques and the ability to take a concept/skill from learning through implementation to mastery; be a role model with the skills to build a cohesive team; be a positive motivator and skilled communicator; work well with students, staff, parents, and the community. Individuals in coaching positions are responsible for developing fundamental skills and an understanding of the rules of the sport in participants, modeling and fostering cooperation, sportsmanship, and ethical behavior. Coaches determine the system of play to be used and develop and implement best strategies and methods to carry out the system. They are responsible for maintaining a safe environment for participants, ensuring their eligibility, and monitoring their behavior. Coaches issue and inventory equipment, maintains financial and other related records, and performs other related duties as assigned.
