About the Role
Overall fundraising operations support focused on gift and data processing including significant gift processing during seasonal busy periods.
Maintenance of the fundraising CRM (Revolution CRM by ROI Solutions, Inc.) and its supporting systems, including movement and coordination of data between/among the various platforms.
Assistance with upkeep of data quality throughout the fundraising ecosystem including both bulk and manual data management processes.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct Gift Processing work including during heavy fundraising periods such as pledge drives and calendar and fiscal year-end periods. Process donations, pledges, recurring gifts, matching gifts, and event revenue including donations uploads, remote capture of live checks, batch entry, keying payments (in-house mail and ACH receipts and caging vendor exceptions/rejects), eCRM pending queue matching and manual processing, matching gift administration, reversals, adjustments and other processing tasks as assigned.

  • Run regular data maintenance routines, including uploads/imports, exports, global adds and changes, including:
    • Daily uploads of donation transactions from one or more external vendor platforms and internal processes such as payroll deduction
    • Ad-hoc, monthly and annual source code uploads and corrections
    • Contact history uploads relative to direct mail and telemarketing pulls
    • Other routines as assigned

  • Reference Account and Transaction Maintenance functionalities in CRM to identify and conduct clean-up and de-duplication processes and tasks.

  • Handle needed constituent record adjustments to biographical, engagement and other key data driven by gift processing details, return mail, exception and other reports from vendor platforms and survey respondent data, among others. Analyze information, populating all appropriate data fields and utilizing publicly accessible online tools for information not readily available.

  • Conduct data clean-up and data entry projects as assigned.

  • Support Fundraising Systems and Operations' other tasks and priorities as assigned.

Education: Any combination equivalent to a Bachelor's degree (data management, social science or related field.
Experience: One year experience in an office environment involving database and computer work.
Software/Technical Skills: Familiarity with database operations. Advanced-level Microsoft Word and Excel skills are required with exposure to Microsoft 365 software in its entirety being ideal. The ability to self-teach certain systems and technology aspects using platform documentation and training videos is also required. Some exposure to data visualization applications is a plus.
