Position Overview

Join our dedicated team at Wholesome Wellness Tranquil Counseling as a Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist. This role is essential in providing exceptional telehealth services, significantly impacting the mental well-being of our patients. We are seeking a compassionate therapist specializing in mood disorders who is ready to make a difference in the lives of individuals struggling with mental health challenges.

Our organization is committed to delivering comprehensive mental health services and fostering a supportive environment for our clients. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a normal work-life balance. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Our telehealth facility enables you to reach clients effectively and offer them the flexibility they need during their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized assessment tools.
  • Collaborate with clients to co-create individualized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) while documenting each session meticulously.
  • Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to foster a supportive environment for recovery.
  • Continuously monitor client progression, making data-informed adjustments to treatment plans as necessary based on feedback and clinical judgments.
  • Work in tandem with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic treatment approach and integrated care planning.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with the latest research and best practices in mood disorder treatment.
  • Participate in team meetings and case consultations to contribute insights and approaches that enhance overall treatment efficacy.
  • Advocate for client needs while actively working to de-stigmatize mental health challenges in the community and among peers.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily focus on working with clients experiencing various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our diverse clientele requires a therapist who can adapt to different backgrounds and stories, ensuring personalized care tailored to each individual’s unique circumstances.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based treatment practices specific to mood disorders, including but not limited to CBT and DBT.
  • Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals regarding client medication management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds and experiences.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience working with individuals suffering from mood disorders.
  • A successful track record of implementing therapeutic interventions and achieving positive client outcomes.
