Position Overview

Wholesome Wellness Tranquil Counseling is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our innovative outpatient practice. This full-time remote role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus. The therapist will work primarily with clients dealing with mood disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

Work Environment

This role is 100% remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a commitment to work-life balance. You will be working within a team of compassionate professionals who value collaboration and continuous learning. Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring you have evenings and weekends free to recharge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments that capture the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' symptoms related to mood disorders.
  • Collaborate with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans that align with their goals and preferences, ensuring a client-centered approach.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to implement effective interventions.
  • Provide psychoeducation for clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and self-care strategies to promote ongoing wellness.
  • Continuously monitor client progress, tracking changes and adjusting treatment plans as needed for optimal outcomes.
  • Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care, ensuring that all aspects of a client’s health are considered.
  • Keep abreast of the latest research in mental health to enhance therapeutic practices and improve patient outcomes.
  • Accurately document all clinical interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate actively in case consultations and team discussions to foster a culture of learning and support among colleagues.
  • Advocate for clients within the community, focusing on reducing stigma surrounding mental health issues and promoting access to mental health resources.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist will primarily work with clients experiencing varying mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. This position requires a deep understanding of these disorders to provide effective, tailored interventions that lead to improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology recognized by an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
  • A sound understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver successful patient outcomes in treating mood disorders.
  • Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to connect with clients from a variety of backgrounds and with a range of needs.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience providing clinical mental health therapy in an outpatient setting.
  • Experience with diverse populations and complex case management, including co-occurring disorders.
  • Previous work in integrated care settings is an advantage.
