Job Title: Mounted Wheel Technician
Location: Richmond, VA
Job Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We're seeking a Mounted Wheel Technician to join our team! In this hands-on position, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling, mounting, and balancing of tires and wheels. If you're mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
  • Safely dismount and mount tires on various rim sizes.
  • Accurately balance tires using a computerized balancing machine.
  • Inspect and identify defective tires or wheels; mark and document findings appropriately.
  • Determine whether tires and wheels should be repaired or replaced.
  • Operate and maintain tire equipment, including mounting and balancing machines.
  • Assist with loading/unloading trailers or box trucks as needed.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and customers regarding work performed.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding safety, attendance, and teamwork.
  • Perform additional warehouse or shop-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience with tire/wheel work preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift heavy items and work in physically demanding environments
  • Strong attention to detail and safety
  • Must be able to work independently and collaboratively
