Align HCM is looking for experienced Dayforce WFM System Consultants to join our contractor bench and support current and upcoming client engagements.
As a Dayforce partner, Align HCM works with organizations to deliver high-quality HCM and Workforce Management solutions. This is an opportunity to connect with our growing Dayforce practice and be considered for contract projects that align with your expertise, availability, and experience.
Please note: This is a contractor bench opportunity and does not guarantee an immediate project assignment. Candidates who meet our requirements may be added to our contractor bench and contacted when a suitable client engagement becomes available.
What You'll Do
  • Support clients through end-to-end Dayforce WFM implementations, including requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Configure and validate Dayforce WFM rules, including timekeeping policies, accrual plans, scheduling rules, pay codes, and workforce data configurations.
  • Create data mappings from source systems to Dayforce WFM and develop functional specifications for required configurations or customizations.
  • Support testing activities, troubleshoot configuration issues, and coordinate client acceptance of delivered solutions.
  • Create and maintain requirements documentation, design specifications, configuration documentation, and project plans throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Build strong client relationships by communicating clearly, handling questions and feedback professionally, and delivering high-quality work.
  • Escalate project, technical, or configuration issues appropriately to project managers, practice leads, or other team members.
  • Manage multiple client engagements and project deliverables while accurately tracking time, forecasting hours, and meeting project expectations.
  • Facilitate client meetings, workshops, working sessions, and demonstrations.
  • Provide best-practice recommendations and functional guidance based on Dayforce WFM capabilities and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal project teams and contribute to a team-oriented consulting environment.

What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing Dayforce WFM, including configuration of timekeeping, scheduling, accruals, and pay rules.
  • Strong understanding of Workforce Management concepts and Dayforce WFM functionality.
  • Experience supporting the full implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering through configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to take accountability for deliverables, maintain high-quality work, and proactively manage project responsibilities.
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build trust, communicate effectively, and handle client feedback professionally.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to present materials and facilitate client working sessions.
  • Ability to manage multiple client engagements and competing priorities in a consulting environment.
  • Ability to accurately track time, meet project deadlines, and work within established utilization and project expectations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Dayforce WFM certification is strongly preferred, or willingness to obtain certification as required.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment while collaborating effectively with distributed project teams.
  • Contractor readiness: Willingness and ability to engage on a contract basis when a suitable client opportunity becomes available.
  • Availability: Clearly defined current or upcoming availability, including expected notice period and potential start date for contract engagements.
  • Ability to commit to agreed project schedules and deliverables once assigned to a client engagement.
  • For US and Canada candidates: Ability to travel for client engagements as needed, up to 10%.
  • For Philippines candidates: Remote position; travel is not required.
  • Candidates must have valid authorization to work in their respective country. Visa sponsorship is not available.

  • Experience with additional Dayforce modules, such as Payroll, HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, or Benefits.
  • Familiarity with Dayforce integration tools, data exchange methodologies, or the Dayforce Extensibility Framework.
  • Background in HR operations, payroll processing, or workforce planning.
  • Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Experience working with North American clients.
