Job Description
A Manufacturing Production Coordinator plays a crucial role in the planning and execution of manufacturing processes. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, organizational skills, and the ability to work well with a team. The primary focus is on coordinating the various components of production, from inventory management to ensuring safety protocols are followed. A successful Manufacturing Coordinator ensures that production goals are met on time and within budget, while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate production schedules and manufacturing activities
  • Oversee inventory levels and ensure materials are available for production
  • Track production rates with labor hours vs units complete
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve any production issues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records
  • Ensure timely delivery of finished products
  • Assist in the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques
  • Monitor workflow and adjust schedules as necessary to meet production targets

Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
