Description/Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the Western Gymnastics Program, including but not limited to:
  • Varsity and Junior Varsity Gymnastics Team
  • Staff Formation:
  • Help select and vet coaches for all levels of Western Gymnastics
  • Instruct coaches at lower levels on proper fundamentals and scheme
  • Fundraising:
  • Fundraise for needs above what the athletic department is able to provide
  • Communication:
  • Communicate expectations to players and parents
  • Communicate schedules and events with players and parents
  • Highlight the Western Gymnastics Program and its athletes
  • Lead Players and Coaches:
  • Model appropriate behavior
  • Serve as a role model for your athletes and the student body
  • Bench decorum will reflect a first-class program
  • Support multi-sport athletes and work with all athletic coaches
  • Develop a program that the Western School Community will be proud of, in and out of the arena
  • Work with other coaches to develop a top tier strength and conditioning program
  • Plan and implement summer workouts while working with other coaches and athletic teams
