Position Summary

Under the direction and supervision of the Chief Medical Officer / Wellness Medical Director, the Advanced EMT is responsible for providing clinical expertise and direct consultation services at the Health and Wellness Center at Our Family Health. This role assists clients in navigating their wellness journey through personalized consultations, education on services and treatments, and support in achieving health-related goals. The role is clinical in nature and does not include supervisory responsibilities. This position could be full to part time status.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesWellness Center Care amp; Coordination
  • Receive clients and guide them through their wellness visits to ensure a smooth and personalized experience.
  • Provide direct clinical consultation and support to clients regarding wellness goals, treatment options, and care plans.
  • Assist with clinical coordination and ensure clients are educated about available services.
  • Collaborate with the Wellness Director and other providers to deliver comprehensive wellness services.
Client Consultation amp; Education
  • Conduct one-on-one consultations to assess wellness needs and recommend appropriate services and programs.
  • Educate clients on available offerings such as IV/IM therapy, weight loss programs, body composition scans, cryotherapy, infrared sauna, and movement/exercise programs.
  • Guide clients on medication usage and therapies, including potential benefits, side effects, and proper usage.
  • Support clients with setting and achieving health-related goals through ongoing education and follow-up.
Daily Clinical Duties
  • Wellness Desk Coverage: Greet and assist clients, direct them to scheduled services, answer questions about clinical offerings, and provide general guidance on wellness solutions.
  • Body Composition Scans: Perform and interpret Dexa-based body composition scans; help clients identify personalized wellness opportunities based on results.
  • VOโ‚‚ Max Testing: Conduct VOโ‚‚ max testing, interpret results, and guide clients in understanding their cardiovascular conditioning and ways to improve fitness levels.
  • Localized Cryotherapy: Administer localized cryotherapy treatments for injury recovery and symptom relief.
  • IV Therapy: Educate clients on IV therapy options and, under the direction of a licensed medical provider (NP/MD), perform IV insertions, hang IV solutions, monitor client responses, and provide post-care counseling.
  • IM Therapy: Administer intramuscular injections as ordered by NP/MD.
  • Weight Loss Visit Coaching: Coach clients on lifestyle changes that support weight loss, provide motivational support, and administer subcutaneous injections of weight loss medications as prescribed.
  • Lifestyle Strategy Sessions
Data Collection, Reporting amp; Program Monitoring
  • Collect and analyze data to assess wellness program effectiveness and provide feedback to the Wellness Director.
  • Monitor and document client progress in wellness programs, ensuring goals and outcomes are met.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards in all clinical interactions.
Specific Clinical Responsibilities
  • Bone Health and Osteoporosis: Assist with IV/IM therapies and educational support for bone health.
  • Weight Loss Programs: Educate on medication options, lifestyle modification, and individualized action planning.
  • IV/IM Therapy: Help clients select therapies, provide education, and offer monitoring and support during administration.
  • Body Composition Scans: Conduct and help clients understand their body composition and its health implications.
  • Wellness Services Support: Provide clinical insight for services like cryotherapy, infrared sauna, HRT, massage, and group movement therapies.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Provide consistent client follow-up and ongoing support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the executive or wellness leadership.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and service standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Requirement: Active Georgia license as a Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT).
  • Associate degree in an accredited AEMT program.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of wellness services and treatment modalities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
