Position Overview

Mountain Side Counseling & Wellness Center is actively seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time role that will significantly enhance the lives of our diverse clientele. This remote position offers flexible scheduling options, including the possibility of 4x10 or 5x8 shifts, allowing you to work within our operational hours of 8 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday. As an LCSW, you will play a crucial role in providing therapeutic services aimed at addressing various behavioral health issues, ultimately supporting our mission of delivering high-quality integrated care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, groups, couples, and families, focusing on enhancing emotional and psychological well-being.
  • Conduct comprehensive interviews and assessments to gather vital information regarding clients' social, personal, environmental, and health histories.
  • Evaluate and develop treatment plans that address specific problems within your professional scope.
  • Coordinate and adapt programs and activities to effectively meet the diverse social and emotional needs of clients.
  • Facilitate sessions aimed at cognitive, affective, and behavioral health concerns, including crisis resolution and referrals to community resources as necessary.
  • Establish trusting relationships that foster mutual respect and acceptance to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
  • Document findings and maintain accurate client records in compliance with established protocols, ensuring timely updates and management of caseload.
  • Provide individualized clinical counseling tailored to the unique needs and backgrounds of clients.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the clinic and enhance service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work directly with a diverse group of clients facing a wide range of challenges, including behavioral health issues such as depression, mood disorders, substance abuse (alcohol and drug dependency), and family-related matters. Your role will be pivotal in supporting individuals and families through difficult times, helping them achieve healthier lifestyles and improved mental wellness.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in the State of Texas.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in behavioral health or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing counseling for various mental health issues, including but not limited to grief, loss, marital therapy, and family counseling.
Compensation and Benefits
