This role is pivotal in our mission to help patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and achieve optimal health. Metro Physical Therapy & Wellness is a private orthopedic outpatient practice renowned for its commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Our facility, a state-of-the-art 5,000-square-foot sports medicine center, is equipped with the latest rehabilitation technology and resources. As a PT-owned practice, we are passionate about enhancing our patients' quality of life and focus primarily on individuals who hold private medical insurance. Our close-knit team of professionals includes two skilled physical therapists and one licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA), all devoted to teamwork and excellence in patient outcomes.

This role will be centered in a fast-paced, onsite home care setting, allowing therapists to engage directly with patients in their own environments. This approach enhances the therapeutic relationship and tailors rehabilitation plans to fit patients' everyday lives. The work schedule is structured for Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic for our therapists.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their physical therapy needs and establish treatment goals tailored to individual objectives.
• Manage a caseload averaging one patient per hour, delivering focused, hands-on care that maximizes recovery outcomes.
• Employ evidence-based treatment modalities and techniques to improve patient's range of motion, reduce pain, and enhance mobility.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that integrate various therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy and exercise regimens tailored to individual needs.
• Educate patients on wellness and preventive strategies to encourage self-management and a healthy lifestyle, influencing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering a positive environment that inspires confidence and progress.
• Document patient treatment regimens and evaluate outcomes continuously to ensure progress and adapt to changing needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. We pride ourselves on creating individualized treatment plans that respect each patient’s unique needs and lifestyle, aiming for the highest level of recovery and functionality. As such, you will play a vital role in not only restoring physical abilities but also in improving overall well-being.

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Connecticut license to practice as a Physical Therapist without any disciplinary actions.
• Strong clinical acumen and expertise in orthopedic physical therapy, with a focus on manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Proficiency in using WebPT EMR software or similar electronic medical records systems to document patient care effectively.

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
• Demonstrated ability to create strategic, individualized exercise and wellness plans that result in improved patient outcomes.

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, based on experience and qualifications.
