Wellness Director (RN) - Assisted Living

The Director of Wellness (RN) is responsible for overseeing all clinical aspects of the Assisted Living program in collaboration with the Administrator. This role includes supervision of nursing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting resident-centered care initiatives.


Schedule:

  • Full-Time

  • Monday-Friday

  • 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete assessments for prospective and current Assisted Living residents in accordance with state regulations

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate clinical staff

  • Monitor clinical performance, including medications, ADLs, treatments, and documentation

  • Maintain and update all required resident clinical records

  • Develop and oversee staff education and annual training requirements

  • Address and resolve clinical concerns with residents and families

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care

  • Conduct monthly and quarterly assessments and update service plans accordingly

  • Perform focused evaluations to identify resident needs and changes in condition

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in the State of New Jersey (required)

  • Assisted Living experience required

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive nursing leadership experience

  • Experience with program development or planning strongly preferred

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
