Job description

Are you passionate about helping older adults live vibrant, engaged, and fulfilling lives? Lutheran Life Villages is seeking an energetic, creative, and relationship-driven Wellness Coordinator to lead programs that enrich the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being of our Residential Living members at our South Anthony Blvd campus.

This is a part-time position working Tuesdays & Thursdays 8:00am โ€“ 4:30pm and Saturdays 8:00am โ€“ 12:00pm.

As the Wellness Coordinator, you'll play a key role in fostering a culture of wellness, purpose, and joy. If you thrive in a fast-paced, people-centered environment where you can make a daily impact, we want to meet you!

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Design, implement, and lead a diverse calendar of wellness programs, including fitness classes, lifelong learning sessions, spiritual groups, creative arts, and social events.
  • Teach and lead Rock Steady Boxing classes for community.
  • Partner with members to understand their interests, goals, and abilities, tailoring programs that support independence and whole-person wellness.
  • Track resident participation and outcomes to continuously enhance program quality and effectiveness.
  • Assist with community-wide initiatives such as health fairs, motivational challenges, volunteer opportunities, and intergenerational events.

What You Bring

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Exercise Science or related field OR Certified Personal Trainer OR Certified Group Exercise Trainer.
  • Rock Steady Boxing Coaching certification preferred.
  • Passion for working with older adults and enhancing their quality of life.
  • Experience in wellness, fitness, recreation, therapeutic activities, or a related field (senior living experience a plus).
  • Effective communication, organization, and engagement skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire participation among residents with varying functional levels.
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
