As a Wellness Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with Wellness leadership to support the day-to-day success of the department. • Help communicate department priorities, promotions, updates, and expectations to the team

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and the customer experience

  • Lead by example and help create a positive, collaborative team environment

What we're looking for:

  • At least 2 years of retail experience; natural products, nutrition, supplements, grocery, pharmacy, or wellness experience is strongly preferred

  • At least 1 year of leadership, supervisory, or management experience

  • Genuine interest in nutrition, supplements, natural health, and wellness

  • Strong customer-service and relationship-building skills

  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through

  • Comfortable coaching and supporting a diverse team

  • Ability to prioritize and stay positive in a busy retail environment

  • Strong computer skills

  • Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings and Saturdays

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of a retail position, including lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.

Why Peoples Rx?

You'll join an established Austin company with a long history of helping people get well and feel their best. We value compassionate service, learning and education, integrity, continuous improvement, and exceeding expectations.

Benefits for eligible full-time employees include:

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • Paid vacation, sick time, and holiday pay

  • 401(k) with company match

  • Generous employee discounts on nutritional supplements and wellness products

  • Extensive product education and training

  • Opportunities to participate in community wellness events

  • Opportunities to grow within Peoples Rx

If you have a passion for wellness and enjoy helping both customers and teams thrive, we'd love to hear from you.
