The position operates within a community health framework, focusing on serving clients who often experience barriers to achieving mental health care.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop tailored treatment plans for clients.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy, during individual and group sessions.
• Provide ongoing therapeutic support and progress evaluations while maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups for various demographics, including families and couples, addressing diverse emotional and social issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and allied health professionals, to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Stay current with developments in the mental health field through continuous professional development activities, including workshops and training sessions.

The clients served at Evolve Wellness Center include a diverse range of individuals and families with limited access to mental health resources. Your work will primarily support those experiencing various mental health issues, from acute crisis situations to ongoing psychological challenges. By providing compassionate and effective treatment, you will play an essential role in empowering clients to overcome their mental health struggles and achieve their personal goals.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a counseling setting.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to establish rapport with diverse clientele.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance use, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and the ability to adapt to new technologies efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment to optimize client outcomes.

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition to a competitive salary, our LPCs receive access to dental, vision, and health insurance, and support for obtaining malpractice insurance. You will benefit from client referrals, reducing the time spent on marketing and increasing your focus on therapy. Our supportive administrative team will assist with billing and documentation, allowing you to concentrate on providing high-quality care.
