Wellcare Md Jobs (NOW HIRING)

In Home Wellcare, a licensed home care agency in Providence, Rhode Island, is seeking a Rhode Island licensed physician (MD or DO) to serve as the physician member of our Professional Advisory Committee (PAC), required under 216-RICR-40-10-17, Section 17.8.1(A) for Home Nursing Care Provider licensure.

This is a strictly advisory role.

Commitment: Attend one committee meeting per year, in person or virtually, and review the agenda or minutes of the second annual meeting. Nothing more.

This role involves no clinical or legal responsibility for patient care, no obligation to see, evaluate, or treat patients, and no availability requirements outside of meetings. It will not conflict with your current practice or hospital privileges.

About Our Clients

We serve over 120 active Medicaid clients, most of whom are older adults, medically complex, and Spanish-speaking. Your participation helps ensure our policies and clinical standards reflect sound medical judgment for a historically underserved population.

Compensation: Stipend provided under a simple advisory agreement, amount negotiable.

Requirements: Active, unrestricted Rhode Island medical license (MD or DO). Spanish language ability a plus but not required.
