Job description

DESCRIPTION
We are currently recruiting qualified candidates in the several areas. Qualified candidates must be reliable, hardworking and able to multitask as part of a team environment. Must possess strong interpersonal and patient skills and be comfortable with technology. Duties include but are not limited to venipuncture blood draws, which may include height, weight and waist circumference measurements, blood pressure readings, as well as data entry and specimen handling.
This position is great for an individual seeking a part-time, flexible position to supplement their income. Typical shifts are morning hours as early as 5 am averaging 4 hours per day but may be longer. Requires flexibility in start times depending on our clients' needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Set up and take-down of all equipment and supplies managed by an experienced lead phlebotomist.
  • Identify participants, accurately enter billing information and collect payments when required, following corporate policies.
  • Collect specimens during onsite biometric screenings as outlined in our established procedures
  • Process specimens which include labeling, centrifuging and transport.
  • Read, understand and perform basic established job functions based on established policies and procedures.
  • Ability to navigate a computer and enter data.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a cohesive team.
  • Complete required online training courses in a timely manner when assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Phlebotomy Certification (CPT) or Equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in clinical setting
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Reliable transportation, current insurance and valid driver's license
  • Technology skills and data entry experience
  • Comfortable with standing
  • Ability to lift equipment and supplies
