Join us at Lincoln Tech! We're looking for skilled Welders to become valued Instructors in our Welding Technology program. No teaching experience is required. We specialize in helping welders transition into engaging educators. Bring your passion for the industry and help shape the next generation of welding professionals!

Key Requirements for Welding Instructors

  • 3+ years of related practical work experience in welding
  • OSHA 10 certification (required within first 3 months)
  • NCCER credentials (current upon hire or obtained within determined timeframe)
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Great communication skills
  • Proficient in technology
  • Teaching experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities for Welding Instructors

  • Teach and provide hands-on training in Welding Technology in our fully equipped facility
  • Facilitate and effectively deliver Lincoln Tech accredited course curriculum using our Blended Learning Model
  • Support and motivate student growth, professionalism, and accountability through advising and mentoring
  • Evaluate and communicate progress with students fairly and consistently
  • Teach students about the importance of safety and compliance
  • Maintain a professional, visitor-ready classroom environment
  • Complete Lincoln Instructor Foundational Training (LIFT) program
  • Prepare students for a successful career in the field of Welding Technology
