Job description

Job Summary The City of Sioux Falls Public Works Department, Street/Fleet Division is accepting applications for a part-time Shop Helper. This position is a non-benefited position, working maximum of 28 hours per week. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Cleaning shop and car wash area Conducting minor repairs Picking up and delivering parts to mechanics Moving vehicles and equipment in and out of shop Dropping off or picking up vehicles from outside vendors Assist in the welding shop and assist mechanics when necessary Replenish washer fluid and minor custodial responsibilities Minimum Qualifications Applicants should have relevant education and/or experience.
