Job description

This part-time position assists in maintaining day to day operations of the welding lab. Duties include keeping metal cut and prepared for classes, cleaning equipment, and maintaining a clean weld lab, minor maintenance of equipment and power tools. Some lifting required. Some knowledge of welding processes is also helpful..
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Duties include keeping metal cut and prepared for classes.
  • Cleaning equipment and maintaining a clean weld lab.
  • Minor maintenance of equipment and power tools.

Hiring Range:
  • This role pays $15.00 per hour

Work Hours:
  • The hours for this role may vary but are expected to be about 16 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Some knowledge of welding processes.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree and/or certification in welding
