Position: Robotic Welder
Location: Hartselle, AL
Wage: $24.33 /HR
Shift: 4a-2:30p, M-Th, with OT Friday

While reporting to the Site Leader as the Robotic Welder Production Associate you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in support of production operations.
What You'll Be Doing:
The roles performed are Mig Weld mild steel together to form the finished product. Sheet material range from 16GA - ¼" thick with occasional ¾" plate. Flat Bar 3/16" - 1 ½ thick, 3" I-Beam @ 7.5 pounds per foot, and structural tubing ranging from 1 ¼" Square - 3" x 4" Rectangle. Fitting and forming parts for welding is required in certain jobs. Inspection and grinding is also required in certain jobs. Ability to lift 30-50 pounds is required.   • Has ability to work in accordance with safety and quality standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all functions within the plant (safety, quality, maintenance & management)
  • Responsible for general housekeeping (5S) of work area and department
  • Mig Welding with .045 wire and perform fillet and butt joints.
  • Ability to read drawings and Route Sheets to determine the proper job requirements.
  • Flexible as individuals are trained on multiple jobs and weld positions.
